The Rector of St Edmund Parish is Fr. Peter Hwang assisted by Fr. Ravindra Babu (Christu) Kollabathina.
This pastoral visit to Zone A, Batu 9, Limbang on 12th October 2019 accomplished the blessing and ground-breaking of two projects to build a new chapel Gereja St Paul at Rumah Intai a 38-door Iban longhouse and another new chapel Gereja St John Paul II at Rumah Ugak, Kampung Lubok Simpor a 22-door Iban longhouse.
After the ground-breaking ceremony, Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng and Fr. Peter Hwang celebrated sunset Mass at Rumah Ugak, Kampung Lubok Simpor with some 280 parishioners some coming from other kampungs under Zone A Batu 9.
After the Mass, the community invited Fr. Peter Hwang to cut the cake to celebrate his 11th priesthood anniversary followed by welcome dinner for Bishop's first visit to Rumah Ugak.
